So I watched the debate last nite. Anwar (with his crazy eyebrows) and Shaberi (with his foamy mouth) hitting each other with pot shots and lame wit. What did we get from all this? What did we learn? Of course this event is unprecedented in the history of this nation... but we have to ask ... what the whole purpose of this debate was?

There might be some confusion as to the whole purpose of the debate. BN wanted to ease some pressure and blow some steam from so many scandals and controversies. Anwar wanted to make more noise and prove he can make it as PM or leader of the opposition. So we have 2 different reasons for the debate. At the end of the day.... did we achieve anything? Did the rakyat get any benefit.... besides the entertaining drama on stage? Nothing.

We now know... all this while... public funds were wasted and bad decisions made. Any foreign investor will laugh at this and think how shallow our gov economic experts are. What is the gov paid employees doing when all this happened? What are the police and gov economic agencies doing when all this happened before? Nuts.

spain... the worthy champions

ok... here is my take on the champions league lah. liverpool won it for spain. torres and xavi won the trophy... thanks to benitez. its also back to the great days of attacking football... something maradona, platini and zidane mastered. too bad the final should have been holland and spain... germany and france have the worst moronic players in the tournament!

now... how about the ronaldo fiasco? claimed to be the greatest MU legend... wonderkid from Ferguson... end up playing ur backside. Also recently revealed... MU owners took euro 600 million loan to finance the club and desperate to sell ronaldo. bankrupt club, greedy players, ungrateful footballers... and naive asian fans... a great cocktail of disillusionment!
